Engagement

Most of my clients come to me with experiences in the past shooting with photographers that could not make them feel comfortable or didn't really care to make them comfortable. I hear, "I hate having my picture taken... I'm so awkward in front of the camera... I have never felt good or like myself in a shoot... I'm don't know how to take a good headshot." And what I tell everyone is that it's not their job to be good at posing for headshots. It's about feeling comfortable being who they are in front of me and the camera. And that is all about connecting with my clients before we shoot. Getting to know who they are, where they come from, where they want to go, and walking them through the simple basics of how we are going to achieve their goals in the most authentic way possible.
